New Ride

Captain Pants has asked a few times this past week for me to post about the new ride, and today I got some more pestering from others (I'm looking at you Wendy!) to get the news online. I haven't meant to be delinquent, I've just had a busy week.

But, here I am with a bit of time on Sunday evening and I can finally break the exciting news! Last weekend we picked up my new baby from Speed Theory. There's still a little bit of work to be done in getting the fit just right - after a couple of spins on the trainer this week I'm still feeling like the reach is a little too long - but I'm really impressed with the power numbers that I'm seeing on it. I'm seeing better power outputs than on the Guru without any extra perceived exertion. Obviously, it's tough to tell for sure on the trainer, but I'm really excited to get outside on it sometime when the roads dry out (which unfortunately probably means, like, May).
