YVR rocks with its free Wifi and Vera's burgers

Team Pink is Halifax bound for a few days of partying with Team Pink Super Friends Dan and Eileen as they chain themselves together in front of friends and family. Eileen is a Haligonian (seriously that's what people from HaliFAX are called... some how FAX = GON) so we are all headed there. Also they own a chunk of rock on the Atlantic a stone's throw from Peggy's Cove. Which they are getting married on... the land not Peggy.

So here we are at YVR. Vancouver's awesome airport. Seriously. Despite what Douglas Adams had to say on airports in the Dirk Gently novel Long dark teatime of the soul, this airport is awesome. It's pretty (or the bits that aren't under renos), it has a waterfall... on purpose. And Haida air and totem poles and awesome food. There's a Vera's in the airport. Which is only the great burger in Vancouver. Seriously so good. Our coach has advised us to eat burgers from Vera's (ok so only once in a while when you really want one and are in full training mode and need the beef and stuff. And we have found/caught him eating one.

It's 9:01. I can haz cheeseburger now???

It's 1:01 one in Halifax so I'm going to say yes.

And I do realize that we have been sorry excuses for bloggers (although not as poor as SOME people whose name rhymes with beggin' and might start with the same letter as muffin (mmmm muffin)). Although her Facebook statuses do (sort of) make up for the lack of posting.

So to appease you and to provide entertainment for Rachel here are some pictures from the cross race the other week and a few other things. I really like the last one. And FYI I took these with my trusty iPhone.

And one of the changing leaves outside my front door. Cause it was pretty and a plant. Two things I like.
